Erin Lopez-Brooks

Owner/Operator/Behavior Analyst and Elementary Guide

I’m Erin Lopez-Brooks!

I have taught in Montessori classrooms since 2007, and have been using behavior analysis in Montessori classrooms since 2014. My scope of practice and competence is commensurate with my education and experience working in homes and clinics as a behavior therapist, as well as a teacher in both private and public Montessori schools. I completed the required Master’s level coursework through Arizona State University, and all of my 1500 supervision hours were completed in Montessori classroom environments. I am a State certified teacher in Texas for general education, early Childhood through 6th grade, along with certifications in Special Education, Gifted and Talented Education, and English as a Second Language.

I completed the Orton-Gillingham Comprehensive training through the Institute of Multi-Sensory Education, shortly after attending Allison Awes’ presentation about dyslexia at the Refresher Course in Austin.

As an AMI-trained and certified elementary Guide, certified special educator, and Licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst, my aim is to acknowledge and validate the concerns you have, and offer collaborative and compassionate, evidence-based, practical strategies that align with inclusive and neurodiverse special education practices, and trauma-informed behavior analysis, guided by the framework of a Montessori, whole-child approach to education and to life.

With four neurodiverse children of my own,  My aim is to bring inclusivity into Montessori schools and classrooms around the world. I am here to support you and your children, as well as educate and support families and teachers through the elementary years.
